Look Everywhere for NETS and ISTE Learning!

From the sessions in the conference program to exhibiting companies in the Expo, ISTE has helped identify which of the NETS for students, teachers, and administrators apply to what you are learning. Visit ISTE Central and ISTE Learning in the Grand Hall for information on how to use the NETS and ISTE Learning resources to prepare students to live, learn, and work in a technology-powered world.

ISTE Central

Stop by ISTE Central, in the Grand Hall, for all things ISTE including: membership information, ISTE books (buy 4, get the 5th book free!) ISTE Learning—ISTE's virtual learning community, the NETS, and more. Friendly staff are there to help you get the most from your conference experience! Hours: Saturday, 12-6 pm, Sunday, 12-7:30 pm, Monday & Tuesday, 7 am-6:30 pm, Wednesday, 8 am-3 pm.

International Networking Reception

Join ISTE's International Committee in celebrating educators from around the world. The reception is an excellent opportunity to share your inspiring stories, hear about the creative work of others, and network with ISTE leadership and fellow ISTE members as you explore new possibilities for collaboration: Monday, 5:30–7:30 pm, Room 108.

ETAN

Meet and learn from this year's and previous years' winners of the ISTE Public Policy Advocate and Advocacy Trendsetter awards at the Advocacy Lounge: Monday, at 4 pm, and Wednesday, at 10 am.

Advocacy Regional Meetups! Meet with other attendees from your region (U.S. and non-U.S.) to discuss the latest regional policy activity. Regional Meetups will be held throughout the day on Tuesday and Wednesday. See the Advocay Lounge wiki for the specific date and time for your region.

Dr. Eval Will See You Now...

Did you know that ISTE has a research and evaluation department that can help you plan grant proposals? Since we regularly work with multiple projects funded through federal and corporate granting streams we often know what funders are looking for and how to design programs and evaluations that meet their requirements. "Ask Dr. Eval" will be available for free consultation at the ISTE conference. You can sign up for a 15-minute appointment with "Dr. Eval." We're located across from ISTE Central in the Grand Hall.

Morning Refreshments & Treatups on Us!

Join us Monday and Tuesday for a Continental Breakfast in the Exhibit Hall and for treatups throughout the conference. Look for the cupcake in each day's Daily Leader for times and locations. Events marked with a cupcake icon include a treatup!

Thank you, tier three sponsors, for your support of Monday's breakfast and the treatups: CTB/McGraw-Hill, Lego Education, Global Scholar, Safari Montage, Texas Instruments/DLP, and Thinkfinity/Verizon. Thank you, Learning & Leading with Technology, and our Media Partners Education Week/Digital Directions, eSchool News, Scholastic Administr@tor and Media Sponsors Tech & Learning, and Today's Catholic Teacher magazine.
